Delivery rider, cohort yield over P1.1-M shabu in Rizal sting

Police arrested a delivery rider and his cohort in a buy-bust operation that resulted in the confiscation of over P1.1 million worth of shabu in Barangay San Isidro, Rodriguez, Rizal, early Friday morning, June 13.
The suspects, identified as Dindo, 42, a delivery rider, and Jec, 29, are residents of the same barangay.
Police also classified Dindo as a high-value target for illegal drugs.
Arresting officers recovered 162 grams of shabu worth P1,101,600, along with drug paraphernalia.
The Rizal Police Provincial Office (Rizal PPO) said the suspects were brought to the Rodriguez Custodial Facility and are now facing charges for violation of R.A 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
