Valenzuela police probe woman's murder in Barangay Marulas

Operatives of the Valenzuela City Police Station (VCPS) are conducting a thorough investigation into the fatal shooting of a woman in Barangay Marulas on Thursday, June 12.
Police identified the victim as “Jennelyn,” 34, a resident of Barangay Marulas, on Thursday, June 12.
According to police reports, the shooting occurred at around 5:55 p.m. at the corner of Bautista Street and MacArthur Highway.
Closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage showed two unidentified men on a motorcycle approaching the victim.
The back rider suddenly opened fire, then dismounted and shot the woman again, inflicting at least four gunshot wounds.

The suspects fled toward Barangay Malanday.
Responding personnel from Marulas Police Sub-Station 3 immediately conducted a preliminary investigation and launched a manhunt to locate and apprehend the suspects.
An autopsy will be conducted by the VCPS Forensic Unit to aid in the investigation.
Police said they are currently reviewing CCTV footage from nearby establishments to identify the suspects and determine the motive behind the attack.
Authorities urge anyone with relevant information to report to the nearest police station to help bring the perpetrators to justice.
