Septuagenarian stabbed dead by neighbor in Quezon

CALAUAG, Quezon – A septuagenarian was stabbed dead by his neighbor during an argument regarding the installation of a wire in a wooden fence in Purok 5, Barangay Kapaluhan, this city, on Thursday morning, June 12.
Police identified the victim as Francis, 73.
Investigation said the victim was installing wire in a wooden fence when the suspect, Leo, 78, confronted him over his work.

A heated argument erupted where the suspect stabbed the victim with a 19-inch bolo in the chest.
Francis died on the spot.
The barangay chairman arrested the suspect and turned him over to the police.
Leo faces appropriate charges.
