The 16-year-old Arca won four matches in his nine games to score six points to rule the tournament
With his victory, Arca is projected to reach the 2400 rating which needs approval from FIDE before he can become the newest IM of the country.
As of now, the pride of Panabo, Davao del Norte holds a 2327 rating.
Arca also took part in blitz where he landed sixth with 7.5 points.
Grandmaster (GM) Daniel Quizon was unblemished and notched 10 points to conquer the event joined by 76 woodpushers
