Filipino designer Veejay Floresca is part of 'Project Runway' season 21

The designer first competed in the first season of 'Project Runway Philippines'

It is an understatement to say that “Project Runway” has been one of the favorite shows of today’s fashion creatives. The reality-competition TV series has become a platform for aspiring designers in the US and abroad to propel their careers and put their work on the map. Over the years, it has undergone many changes, from host and judging panel to format. But as it returns for its 21st season, the show is welcoming back familiar faces, including its original host, Heidi Klum.
Apart from the supermodel, a designer is also returning to the “Project Runway” franchise. Filipino designer Veejay Floresca is a contestant in “Project Runway” season 21. Now based in New York, the proud trans woman designer first competed in the first season of “Project Runway Philippines” back in 2008.

Veejay started her journey in the fashion industry in Manila before heading to the USA to broaden her brand. Now, she centers her craft on sustainable practices, allowing her to create unique, one-of-a-kind garments for clients while minimizing environmental impact and promoting ethical production methods.
In 2024, Veejay also participated in “Dress My Tour,” a show that aims to take fans behind the curtain of the unpredictable fashion and music industries.
