So many are hoping, so many expect things from me; all I can say is that from the very beginning, I’ve been committed to doing what’s right, and I leave the rest to God),” Marcos said in a statement.
"Kahit ang pinakamabigat na problema #IMEEsolusyon (Even the most difficult challenges has an #IMEEsolusyon)," capping it off with her tagline.
This is the presidential sister's short response to Duterte’s comments about bringing her everywhere as if she were being held “hostage,” a joke made by the Vice President as they celebrated Independence Day in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Duterte had said she would not let go of Marcos until her father returns to Davao City. The International Criminal Court (ICC), is currently probing the alleged crimes during the elder Duterte's controversial war on drugs.
I am inviting Senator Imee Marcos, I bring her wherever I go because I am telling her: I will not be the one bringing former president Duterte to the Philippines. Because your brother brought him to the Hague, you will be the one bringing him to the Philippines)," the vice president said.
In addition to Marcos, Senator Robin Padilla was with the Vice President during her event in Kuala Lumpur on Thursday, June 12.
