LAOAG CITY, Ilocos Norte – They keep on appearing.
Another pack of floating shabu was found in the West Philippine Sea in this province, this city in particular, on Friday, hours after one was discovered in the nearby town of Paoay at 6:30 a.m.
The contraband was discovered in Barangay 33-A, La Paz, at 11:30 a.m. by a 28-year-old fisherman who was gathering his fishing nets in the shore of Sabangan Beach.

Police Lt. Col. Andrew P. Rabang, Laoag chief of police, said the item had the same markings as that in Paoay – image of a durian and several Chinese characters.
The fisherman turned over the package to authorities who confirmed its contents as shabu. It weighed one kilogram with a standard drug price of P6.8 million.
Rabang said authorities are scouring the shoreline of this city to find out if there are more illegal drug washed ashore and waiting to be found.
