Vendor killed, 4 injured as pickup rams waiting shed in Quezon

MACALELON, Quezon – A 54-year-old vendor was killed and four individuals were injured when a pickup truck rammed a waiting shed in Barangay Mabini Ilaya, this town, on Wednesday afternoon, June 11.
Police identified the fatality as Mafe.
Injured were Carlo, 16; Elly, Divine, 58, and Delfin, the driver of the pickup truck.
Police said Delfin lost control of the pickup truck while traversing a sharp curve on the provincial road towards Lucena City, Quezon
The vehicle crashed into the waiting shed where the victims were waiting for a ride.
Mafe died on the spot and the injured were taken to a hospital in Gumaca, Quezon.
Delfin faces reckless imprudence resulting in homicide, physical injuries, and damage to property cases.
