The expansion introduces five of the Manila-based group’s brands to Cebu: Manam, Ooma, 8Cuts Burgers, Mo’ Cookies, and Din Tai Fung. Grouped together at “The Moment Block,” the restaurants are located close to one another within the mall.
“It has always been our goal to further elevate the local dining scene with beloved world-class dining concepts that Cebuanos can now call their own,” said Steven T. Tan, president of SM Supermalls. “And we are proud to bring The Moment Group to Cebu and set the table for fresh experiences that combine flavor, culture, and creativity.”
The rollout begins June 18 with Manam, known for Filipino comfort food with contemporary twists. Dishes such as Crispy Pancit Palabok, Sinigang na Beef Short Rib and Watermelon, and Ube + Sago Shake are part of its signature menu.
Ooma, offering a modern take on Japanese cuisine, opens June 19. The menu features items like Aburi Maki Rolls, Hanger Steak, and Uni Udon.
8Cuts Burgers opens June 24, bringing its custom-blended burger patties and sides to Cebu. Among the popular options are the Cheeseburger, Bleu 2.0, and Onion Rings.
Also opening June 24 is Mo’ Cookies, known for its palm-sized cookies in flavors such as Dark Chocolate Macadamia, South Cotabato Chocolate Fudge, and Chocolate Chip.
The rollout concludes June 25 with the arrival of Din Tai Fung, the Taiwanese restaurant recognized internationally for its Pork Xiaolongbao. Other offerings include Pork Chop Fried Rice and Salted Egg Yolk Prawns.
The Moment Group’s entry into Cebu reflects continued growth in the city’s food scene and a broader push by national dining groups to expand their presence beyond Metro Manila.
