PRO-7 cited as top-performing unit

CEBU CITY – The Police Regional Office-Central Visayas (PRO-7) has been hailed as a top-performing unit in the country.
The PRO-7, headed by regional director Police Brig. Gen. Redrico Maranan, announced that it led the Unit Performance Evaluation Rating (UPER) in April 2025 after scoring 81.986 points, the highest among the 17 police regional offices in the country.
UPER is a monthly performance assessment where each regional police office is rated through a broad range of performance indicators such as discipline, law enforcement effectiveness, personnel management, administrative operations, and community engagement.
The outstanding performance showed immense dedication, professionalism, and unity among the personnel, the PRO-7 said.
“Kudos to the dedicated men and women of Police Regional Office 7 for your unwavering commitment and hard work. Your outstanding efforts have led to this remarkable achievement. Keep up the good work as you continue to set higher standards in public service and law enforcement,” said Maranan.
