Members of the Bulacan police arrested two carnappers and recovered from them a stolen motorcycle in Quezon City on Tuesday, June 10.
According to the police, around 1:32 a.m. on June 9, a robbery hold-up and carnapping incident occurred along MacArthur Highway, in Barangay Iba O Este, Calumpit.

One of the suspects pointed a gun at the victim and forcibly took the Yamaha Aerox 155 motorcycle as well as his cellphone.
With the help of CCTV footage and a GPS tracker of the victim's cellphone, Calumpit police station operatives successfully traced the whereabouts of the suspects.
In a follow-up operation in coordination with the Quezon City Police District Station 2, two suspects were arrested in Barangay Paltok, Quezon City.
The stolen motorcycle and another suspected carnapped white Yamaha Aerox were also recovered from the suspects.
The arrested suspects have been placed under the custody of Calumpit police station while violation of RA 10883 (New Anti-Carnapping Law of 2016) and robbery hold-up were being prepared for filing against them.
Col. Estoro lauded the Calumpit police for the quick and coordinated response that resulted in the immediate arrest of the suspects and the recovery of the stolen motorcycle.
