Sales agent gunned down in Calapan City

CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro – A lone gunman shot and killed a 37-year-old sales agent and collector of a merchandising company here on Tuesday morning, June 10.
Police Lt. Col. Roden S. Fulache, Calapan City police chief, identified the victim as Lesther G. Ibaan of Barangay Masipit, Calapan City.

Initial investigation said Ibaan had just parked his motorcycle in an abandoned gasoline station when the unidentified suspect onboard a motorcycle without a license plate arrived.
The suspect shot the victim four times. Ibaan died on the spot.
A bystander, Kadnor P. Miranda Jr., 57, of Barangay Lumangbayan, this city, was wounded by a stray bullet and taken to a hospital.
The gunman fled and police are conducting follow-up investigation and manhunt operations.
