Container truck rams posts, hits van in Malabon collision

According to Ret. Col. Reynaldo Medina Jr., head of the Public Safety and Traffic Management Office (PSTMO), the truck driver reportedly lost control while navigating a curved portion of the road, causing the vehicle to slam into multiple posts.
The incident also involved an L300 van, which was hit during the crash. While no serious injuries were reported, the van’s driver received medical assistance after sustaining minor injuries.
Emergency response teams from the PSTMO, Malabon City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), Malabon City Action Team (MCAT), and the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) quickly arrived at the scene to secure the area and manage the traffic flow.
Authorities advised motorists to take alternate routes while clearing operations were underway to prevent further congestion.
