Tricycle passenger dead, 2 hurt in riding-in-tandem attack in Rizal

Authorities are now hunting down two riding-in-tandem suspects who shot dead a female tricycle passenger and injured two others in Teresa, Rizal.
Responders said the female victim, who has not yet been identified, was already dead when they arrived. The tricycle driver was also injured, along with another female passenger who got hit in the jaw.
Based on the initial report, the victims had just come from the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP)-Teresa when the gunmen opened fire at their tricycle along Pantay Road in Barangay Bagumbayan on Saturday afternoon, June 7.
Barangay personnel said the suspects may be the two men on a motorcycle, along with two cars, who were allegedly seen by some witnesses following the victims from BJMP-Teresa up to the crime scene.
Authorities are now conducting backtracking operations to locate the suspects who will be charged with murder and two counts of frustrated murder.
They are also investigating the motive behind the killing.
