Christian Emmanuel Tan scored 18 points and Mikkael Dominic Castaneda had 13 as the Batang Beermen defeated Rain or Shine, 65-49, in the 11-and-under division to go up 2-0 in Group B.
Ulan Rico scored 14 points to the show the way for the Batang Elasto Painters (0-1).
Blackwater also coasted to its second straight win in the 9-and-under division at the expense of Ginebra (0-1), 64-37.
Prince Sirius Selibio tallied 20 points while Carmelo Keeyan Leongson contributed 17 for the Batang Bossing, who assumed the early lead the four-team division.
Converge, meanwhile, bounced back from a disappointing defeat against Blackwater on Monday, by beating debuting Magnolia, 54-48, in the other 9U match held in the morning.
Christian Jacob Tan led the Batang FiberXers with 27 points. Lucas Gabriel Miciano contributed 10.
In the other 11U game, debuting Terrafirma rode on a 27-9 finishing kick to rout TNT, 63-44, in Group B.
