Authorities rescue man on top of Zamboanga City building

ZAMBOANGA CITY -- Authorities successfully negotiated with a man who is apparently suffering from a mental disorder from jumping off a housing building here on Tuesday, June 10.
The drama unfolded at around 5 p.m. on Monday and ended Tuesday morning after Allen Dave Morales, 28, was spotted at the roof of the building.
Emergency services and local police were quickly dispatched to prevent the man from jumping off the rooftop.
After a careful and coordinated effort, authorities successfully rescued Morales, ensuring his safety and well-being.
He was transported to Police Station 11 for proper disposition and further evaluation.
Local officials urged residents to remain vigilant and report similar situation to ensure the safety of all community members.
