Citing that the ongoing Cabinet performance review is an ongoing process, President Marcos hinted at a possible quarterly assessment on all Cabinet members.

Marcos said they will be more rigorous in reviewing the Cabinet secretaries' performance, and they will do it on a periodic basis.
He also stated that there will be more upcoming changes.
"Essentially, what you call as a Cabinet revamp is not a one-shot, one-time big time thing. It is an ongoing thing. It is essentially putting all government agencies, departments on notice that we have to do better and we will be looking very very closely, and we will make that review on a periodic basis, maybe a quarterly basis," Marcos said in an interview on Tuesday, June 10.
"Titingnan natin yung mga target ba natin naabot ba natin (We will check if their target will be achieved) on a quarterly basis, and we will be much much more rigorous in looking at the performance, not only at the top level but all the way. I'm sure you will see more changes in the future," he added.
The President also clarified that the ongoing Cabinet recalibration is not a revamp, pointing out that it was basically putting all Cabinet members on probation.
"I have to explain that it's not a Cabinet revamp, what we really did was we're still in the process of examining, now nasa baba na tayo (we are at the lower positions)," he said.
"What happened really here was that I put everyone on notice that you are, basically, all on probation," he added.
The Chief Executive said they are now in the process of reviewing the performance of undersecretaries and agencies.
As of June 3, Marcos has retained most of his Cabinet secretaries, and made several changes in key agencies. He has so far accepted the resignations of seven officials, including the heads of Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), Solicitor General, and Commission on Higher Education (CHED).
