Today, Christopher is channeling that same energy toward a more meaningful cause—advocating for blood donation in the Philippines, in partnership with The Medical City. With lines like “Vamfire will feyt to me! Blood! We need more blood here! I trusted you to donate blood, but you did not!” he creatively blends entertainment with advocacy, using humor and passion to raise awareness about the urgent need for blood donors.
Recognizing the urgent need for blood donations, The Medical City is leveraging his growing influence to inspire public action and raise awareness for this life-saving cause. Joshua C. Dizon, Communications Head of The Medical City, noted Christopher’s impact, emphasizing that the best way to reach people is to make them laugh first, then inspire them to act.
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), approximately over 100 million units of blood are donated each year worldwide to treat patients recovering from surgery, cancer treatment, or medical emergencies. Blood transfusion is especially critical for individuals coping with trauma, managing chronic illnesses, undergoing surgery, or battling cancer. This life-saving procedure serves as a vital lifeline, sustaining health and preserving lives.
This campaign exemplifies The Medical City’s unwavering commitment to healthcare, not only in providing world-class medical services but also by engaging the community through impactful advocacy. By collaborating with influential figures like Diwata, the institution reinforces its dedication to promoting public health, saving lives, and fostering a culture of compassion and social responsibility.
