In preparation for the opening of the face-to-face classes on June 16, Malabon City Mayor Jeannie Sandoval and the Schools Division Office - Malabon led by Dr. Cecil Carandang on Tuesday, began the city’s preparation for the opening of classes in various schools in the city.

The event began with a motorcade from Potrero Elementary School to Epifanio Delos Santos Elementary School, symbolizing the start of school readiness efforts across the city.
According to the SDO, the program featured donations from Brigada Eskwela partners, a story reading session led by Sandoval, the “Brigada Bayanihan in Action,” booth exhibits, and recognition of students who won in national competitions such as the National Schools Press Conference, National Festival of Talents, and Palarong Pambansa.
"Ready na po ang ating mga paaralan para i-welcome a ang mga mag-aaral sa dadating na pasukan. Ito po ay dahil sa pagtutulungan nating mga Malabueño - mga magulang, volunteers, at empleyado ng pamahalaang lungsod upang linisin ang bawat silid at masigurong maayos at maaliwalas ang mga ito para sa mga kabataan. Tayo po ay magkaisa para sa ating maibigay ang dekalidad na edukasyon para sa mahal nating mga mag-aaral (Our schools are now ready to welcome students for the upcoming school year. This was made possible through the cooperation of all Malabueños—parents, volunteers, and city government employees—who worked together to clean every classroom and ensure they are safe, orderly, and conducive to learning for our youth. Let us continue to unite in our efforts to provide quality education for our beloved students)," Sandoval said.
"To our dear students in Malabon, continue to give your best, and show diligence and dedication in your studies. These are the keys that will lead you to success in life,” she added.

All 42 public schools in the city participated in the campaign, with parents, volunteers, and various groups joining forces to clean classrooms and improve school facilities.
Participants included student-athletes, city government employees, and members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), and various civic foundations.
