President Marcos has congratulated the newly-elected president of South Korea, saying he is looking forward to working with him.

Marcos took to social media on Tuesday afternoon, June 10, to express his congratulatory message to South Korean President Lee Jae-Myung.
"On behalf of the Filipino people, I congratulate Lee Jae-Myung on his election as President of the Republic of Korea," Marcos said on X.
"The Philippines values its deep and enduring ties with the ROK and I look forward to working with him to further strengthen the Strategic Partnership between our two countries," he added.
Lee won the snap election, succeeding impeached president Yoon Suk Yeol.
