L’Oréal Philippines marked a significant milestone in its 36-year journey with the inauguration of its new headquarters, Balai Beauté, at The Podium West Tower in Ortigas, Pasig City. The celebration, titled “Sense of Purpose” and held on May 8, 2025, also highlighted the company’s initiatives to provide beauty and digital education alongside meaningful livelihood opportunities, impacting nearly 3,000 Filipinos in vulnerable communities.

“Our goal is to empower 10,000 Filipinos, especially women, by 2030 through our Beauty For A Better Life and Inclusive Sourcing programs, creating more livelihood opportunities in the beauty industry,” said Yassine Bakkari, country managing director of L’Oréal Philippines. “Our commitment is fueled by our partners who share the same passion for driving inclusive growth.”
Also leading the event was Vismay Sharma, president of L'Oréal South Asia Pacific, Middle East, and North Africa (SAPMENA). Joining him in the celebration were some of the brand’s partners in the local beauty scene, government representatives, foreign diplomats, advocates, students, and beneficiaries. VIPs included Moroccan Ambassador to the Philippines Mohammed Rida El-Fassi, Laura Charlton of David’s Salon, and Sharon Decapia, SAVP for marketing, PR, and sustainability at Watsons Philippines.
The launch of Balai Beauté is a testament to the company’s dedication to promoting progressive and purposeful beauty, as well as fostering meaningful connections and partnerships.
