A 74-year-old woman was shot dead by a motorcycle-riding assailant wearing a black face mask in Baliwag, Bulacan, on Saturday morning, June 7.
The incident happened around 8:00 a.m. on A. Mabini Street in Barangay Sabang.
Police identified the victim as Yolanda, a vendor.
According to the Initial investigation, the suspect was seen speaking with a man in a store before approaching the elderly vendor and shooting her repeatedly.
After the attack, the suspect fled fled on board a motorcycle toward Barangay Poblacion.
CCTV footage that went viral on social media described the suspect as about 5'8" tall, slim built, wearing faded pants, a hoodie jacket, a black face mask, and a white ball cap.
As of this writing, police are still trying to locate the suspect.
