SANTA ROSA CITY, Laguna – A 26-year-old baker was shot dead by a security guard over gate pass payments in a subdivision in Barangay Malitlit, this city, before dawn on Sunday, June 8.
Police identified the victim as Aldrin.
Investigation said the victim was driving his tricycle after dropping off his co-workers when the suspect, Ronald, 30, appeared and shot him once in the back of the head.

A security in the area, Rommel, 43, witnessed and reported the incident to the barangay.
Aldrin was taken to the Santa Rosa Community Hospital where he was declared dead.
The suspect fled and the subject of a police manhunt.
Aldrin’s co-workers said the victim was involved in heated arguments with the suspect whenever he passes through the subdivision due to gate pass payment issues.
