Actors Charo Santos and Dingdong Dantes, stars of the romantic film "Only We Know," responded to questions about their intimate scenes in their first collaboration.
But are there any intimate scenes in their movie?
During a recent media conference at ABS-CBN in Quezon City, Charo and Dingdong laughed and smiled when asked if there were intimate scenes in their film.
Dingdong inquired with the media about their definition of intimate scenes, specifically mentioning kissing scenes.
The husband of Marian Rivera replied, "Only we know," which sparked laughter among the showbiz press.
Asked whether an intimate scene was necessary in their movie, Charo said: "Depende sa context. Kailangan nasa context ng kwento. (It depends on the context. It has to be in the context of the story.)"
When the media representatives didn't receive any solid answers from Charo and Dingdong regarding intimate scenes, they directed their questions to director Irene Villamor.Irene answered: "Secret."
Charo and Dingdong were asked about their impressions of each other before filming the movie.
Charo described Dingdong as a very good actor."He's a very good actor. Hindi ko pa sya nakasama ever. Nasa ABS-CBN ako nasa GMA siya. But I saw him grow and mature as an actor. Mas nakilala ko talaga ang galing niya when he appeared in several Star Cinema movies. (I got to know his talent better when he appeared in several Star Cinema movies.) One day, I met him in my office to discuss a story that had been pitched. Pero hindi natuloy yun. (But it did not push through). The next time I met him was when the project was pitched for both of us," she said.
Dingdong has known Charo as a leader in the industry.
"She's an industry leader behind the success of a broadcast company. She is also the success behind the talent of our actors. Inamin ko naman sa kanya na may konting takot ako kasi siyempre it was like going to an audition of my life. (I admitted to him that I was a little scared because, of course, it was like going to an audition of my life.)
"Sana pumasa kung ano ang ibibigay ko sa role na ito. Pero hindi niya hinayaan na magkaroon ng fear or intimidation. She allowed me to be myself without hesitation and encouraged me. Her presence is calming and compelling. Nagawa ko yung dapat dawin and I am grateful. (I hope what I have to give to this role will be accepted. She didn't let fear or intimidation deter me. I did what I had to do, and I am grateful)," he said.

“Only We Know” is available in cinemas worldwide beginning in the Philippines on June 11. It will also be shown in Australia, New Zealand, USA, Canada, Guam, UAE, Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Hong Kong, and Macau.

Charo and Dingdong will also attend special screenings and meet-and-greet events in Canada (June 20 and 21) at Cineplex Scarborough Town Centre and in the United States (June 22) at Cinemark Carson. Tickets will be available soon on mytfc.com. 

“Only We Know” tells the story of Betty (Charo) and Ryan (Dingdong), two wounded souls who navigate the unique relationship they share as they develop an intimate bond with one another.
