2 drug buyers, 2 HVIs nabbed in P3.4-M Rizal buy-bust

The Rizal Police Provincial Office (Rizal PPO) identified the HVIs as “Jojie,” 30, and “Chacha,” 29, both tagged as drug pushers. The buyers were identified as “JP,” 39, and “Dondon,” 36, both alleged drug users.
They were arrested in an operation conducted by the Municipal Drug Enforcement Team of the Rodriguez Municipal Police Station in Barangay Geronimo.
Authorities said JP and Dondon were arrested after they were caught buying drugs from the HVIs during the operation.
Confiscated during the operation were five tied sachets of suspected shabu weighing approximately 500 grams, along with P3,000 in cash, a sling bag, and a digital weighing scale.
The arrested suspects are currently detained at the Rodriguez Custodial Facility and will face charges for violating Sections 5 and 11 of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
