More than 72,000 local and overseas job opportunities will open on June 12 through the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) job fair held in celebration of Independence Day.
DOLE Assistant Secretary Patrick Patriwirawan Jr. said some 800 employers from various industries are expected to participate, offering a wide array of employment opportunities.
The manufacturing, retail, business process outsourcing (BPO), and accommodation sectors will account for the largest share of vacancies.
Among the most in-demand roles are production operators, sales clerks, call center representatives, service crew, and microfinance officers, demonstrating DOLE’s commitment to linking qualified workers with regular and decent jobs.
Applicants are encouraged to pre-register and explore job listings through DOLE’s online job matching portal, fieldjob.net, which also features additional vacancies ahead of the June 12 rollout.
