During the command conference here Friday, Fajardo cited the need to establish fixed visibility points and checkpoints.
She instructed police stations across the region to upgrade and strengthen their radio communication systems and conduct regular equipment checks to ensure operational readiness.
Fajardo also ordered strict compliance with the Philippine National Police’s eight-hour duty policy, which adopts a three-shift system – 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., and 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. – to ensure personnel’s health, efficiency, and alertness.
“We must stand united in preserving discipline and professionalism within our ranks,” she said.
“As leaders, it is our duty to set the standard of integrity and service. And as guardians of peace, we will not hesitate to impose discipline on those who violate our core values.” (PNA)
