According to TXTFIRE Philppines, the fire started at 1:58 p.m. and was quickly raised to the second alarm at 2:09 p.m.
The third alarm was raised at 2:37 p.m.
Valenzuela City Mayor Wes Gatchalian said the warehouse contains a stockpile of LPG and superkalan products, making it much more difficult for firefighters to extinguish the blaze.
The warehouse's second floor, which contains hardware products and foams, had also collapsed due to the fire.
"Fortunately, nasa taas po nito 'yung Harbor Link natin going to España. So doon sa Harbor Link kanina ininspect ko, meron tayong almost 40 po na fire trucks na from the top ay nagbubuhos ng tubig. Actually kung wala 'yang Harbor Link eh baka mas malala 'yung sitwasyon natin (Fortunately, our Harbor Link going to España is at the top of the warehouse. When I inspected it, I saw almost 40 firetrucks pouring water from it. Actually, if the Harbor Link wasn't there, our situation might be worse)," Gatchalian said.
This is a developing story.
