Man nabbed for raping pregnant wife with bottle in Cainta

The police report said the crime occurred on Dec. 31, 2008, when the suspect forcefully inserted a bottle inside the genitals of his wife, causing severe bleeding and infection of the fetus.

A 52-year-old man was arrested by the police for raping his pregnant wife with a bottle in Barangay Sto. Domingo, Cainta, Rizal on Thursday, June 5.

The police identified the suspect as "Allan," a construction foreman and a resident of Barangay San Juan in Cainta.

Rizal Police Provincial Office (Rizal PPO) director Col. Felipe Maraggun said the suspect has been arrested by the Cainta Municipal Police Station by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest with a recommended bail of P200,000.

The police report said the crime occurred on Dec. 31, 2008, when the suspect forcefully inserted a bottle inside the genitals of his wife, causing severe bleeding and infection of the fetus. Allan hid from the authorities for more than a decade and was finally arrested yesterday.

He declined to comment to the media after his arrest.

The suspect is now detained at the Cainta Custodial Facility.
