Vice President Sara Duterte is back in the Philippines a week after she visited her father, former president Rodrigo Duterte, who is currently detained at the International Criminal Court’s (ICC) facility in The Hague, Netherlands.

The Office of the Vice President (OVP) made the announcement through a media bulletin on Thursday night, June 5.
She arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) at around 7:40 p.m., according to Duterte’s office.
“The Vice President is expected to address relevant matters in the coming days,” the OVP said.
In The Hague, Duterte visited the former president thrice with her mother, Elizabeth Zimmerman.
She also spent her 47th birthday on May 31 with Europe-based Duterte supporters through an “ICC, send Duterte home” rally at the Laan van Reagan en Gorbatjov, The Hague.
Her visit to The Hague came after a meeting with her Filipino supporters in Qatar.
Duterte came to Qatar and The Hague with presidential sister Senator Imee Marcos.
