South Korea’s Hanteo Chart released the list of the best-selling physical albums for the month of May.
Seventeen’s “HAPPY BURSTDAY” album topped the monthly physical album chart for May, selling 2.43 million copies or an equivalent of 2.87 million points in physical record index (PRI), which is used by the chart to rank albums. PRI is based on album sales and album price.
RIIZE’s “Odyssey” placed second with 1.81 million copies sold or a PRI of 2.17 million points.
BOYNEXTDOOR’s “No Genre” ranked third with 1.21 million copies sold or 1.28 million in PRI followed by I-DLE’s “We Are” with 1.06 million copies in sales or 1.25 million points in PRI.
Placing fifth is Baekhyun’s “Essence of Reverie,” which garnered 1.07 million copies in sales or a PRI of 1.24 million points.
“Echo” of BTS member Jin ranked sixth with 772,476 copies sold or a PRI of 1 million points.
