A 19-year-old man wanted for the crime of frustrated murder will spend more time in prison after police officers recovered more than P1.3 million worth of illegal drugs from him following his arrest in Morong, Rizal on June 2.

The police identified the suspect as "Jon," a resident of Sitio Talaga, Barangay Maybancal. He was also arrested in the same barangay by the Morong Municipal Police Station.
Jon yielded 200 grams of shabu worth P1,360,000, P20,000 worth of kush, and other drug paraphernalia.
Further investigation revealed that the recovered drugs originated from Quezon City and were being distributed to other towns in Rizal including Teresa, Morong, Cardona, Baras, and Tanay. The police added that the drugs are part of a much larger distribution network in the province.
The Rizal Police Provincial Office (Rizal PPO) said the confiscated illegal drugs were brought to the Rizal Provincial Forensic Unit for examination while the suspect was placed under the custody of the police.
Charges of illegal drugs possession and frustrated homicide were being prepared against Jon as of this writing.
Meanwhile, the police are still conducting manhunt operations for the arrest of Jon's accomplices in the frustrated homicide case.
