- Treatment Centers are now strategically located in two malls in Antipolo City to administer anti-rabies shots to animal bite victims.
With the growing number of people being bitten by animals, the Antipolo City government decided to open two new vaccination centers located in two shopping malls in the city.
City Mayor Casimiro “Jun” Ynares, III said the additional Animal Bite Treatment Centers (ABTC) are conveniently located in iMall Antipolo and at SM Center Antipolo Downtown.
At the iMall Antipolo, located in M.L. Quezon Street in Barangay San Roque, the ABTC can be reached by the public for rabies shots at the mall’s second floor from 9 a.m. until 6p.m. from Monday through Saturday.
Victims of animal bites can also visit the newly opened ABTC at the 3rd floor of SM Center Antipolo Downtown on Marcos Highway from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday to Saturday.
Aside from the two bite treatment centers, there is also one located at the Antipolo City Health Office (ACHO) on M. Santos Street, or a few meters away from the city hall.
