Messenger gunned down in Quezon

CANDELARIA, Quezon – A 39-year-old messenger was shot dead in Purok 5, Barangay Malabanban Norte here on Tuesday night, June 3.

Police identified the victim as Dennis, a resident of neighboring Barangay Malabanban Sur.
Investigation said the victim was driving a tricycle towards San Juan, Batangas when an unidentified man appeared and shot him.
Dennis sustained multiple bullet wounds and died on the spot.
The suspect fled with the gun.
Recovered from the crime scene were a fired bullet and eight fired caliber .45 cartridge cases.
Follow-up investigation and manhunt operations are ongoing.
