Filipino celebrities attend global premiere of Korean series 'Good Boy' in Thailand

BANGKOK - Filipino celebrities Anne Curtis, Karylle, Benedict Cua and Evan Tan flew to Thailand to attend Prime Video’s global premiere of the Korean series “Good Boy” starring Park Bo-gum, Kim So-hyun and Lee Sang-yi.
They were among the many celebrities and influencers who went to the event to celebrate the launch of “Good Boy” on May 31.
Curtis also interviewed the three Korean stars about their new series. On her Instagram account, Curtis posted a photo with Park Bo-gum.
In an interview at IconSiam where the premiere was held, Curtis told Philippine media that covered the event that she was happy to meet Park Bo-gum again.
“So very, very happy. Of course, this is the second time that I got to interview him because I hosted his fan meet a couple of years ago. So it was nice to see him again and nice to talk about his new series,” she said.
Curtis said she’s happy to meet Park Bo-gum again.
“Of course, I'm always so happy especially because we share the same industry so to see other people's craft it makes me so happy, you know, and I've seen so many of Park Bo-gum’s series so you know it's it's always such a I'm very very grateful that I' I'm in this position where I'm able to interview them,” she said.
About what fans can expect from the interview, Curtis said, “May pasabog. It was very fun. We got to talk about the series. It's something that, of course, the Filipino fans should look forward to.”
Karylle, who will play the role of Aurora Quezon in the “Quezon” film, also had a great time attending the event.
“It’s really exciting. I think what I learned growing up or growing older, you have to find new ways to live your best life and I think one of the best things is to be around people who are as excited like you, excited as you about something,” she said.
She added, “So I love that we are all here. Anne [Curtis] has been my fellow K-drama fan for a long time. So just going back to what we’ve watched in the past and that same energy and excitement is kind of ‘kilig.’”
During the press conference for “Good Boy,” she was given the chance to ask the three Korean stars.
Cua, an actor and YouTuber, said being at the “Good Boy” event was living the dream of a fanboy.
“Yes! Living the fanboy dream. The whole time I thought I was going to be nervous. Tinitingnan ko sila ng malapitan. Can you believe that? I was really, really dumbfounded and I kind of living surreal because it’s not every day that you get the chance to have this kind of event, let alone be a part of it,” he said.
