Condo housekeeper arrested in shabu bust in Taguig

Police operatives arrested a condominium housekeeper in a buy-bust operation in Taguig on June 4.

The Taguig police identified the suspect as alias Rodel, 39, a resident of Barangay Rizal, Taguig, who was tagged as a high value individual.

He was arrested during the operation along Sheridan Street in Barangay Rizal at about 3:30 a.m. He was apprehended for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).

During the operation, authorities confiscated sachets containing shabu, weighing 74.4 grams and valued at P505,920.

The police also seized a genuine P500 bill used as marked money, four pieces of P1,000 boodle money, and a motorcycle. All confiscated items will be turned over to the Southern Police District (SPD) Forensic Unit for laboratory examination.

Brig. Gen. Joseph Arguelles, acting SPD district director, lauded the Taguig police for the success of the operation.
