Bob's Restaurant marks 60 years as a Bacolod favorite

Iconic Bacolod eatery marks its diamond anniversary with special promotions and a nostalgic celebration on June 6

A beloved institution in the City of Smiles, Bob’s Restaurant is set to commemorate its 60th anniversary on June 6, 2025, with a day-long celebration at its flagship location in North Drive, Bacolod City. The event, aptly titled “Welcome to Bob’s at 60,” invites patrons to join in the festivities from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., promising a nostalgic journey through decades of culinary excellence.
Established in 1965, Bob’s began as Bacolod’s first drive-in restaurant, introducing locals to American-style burgers and other North American dishes. 
A recent Facebook post details a promotion that gives diners a chance to enjoy 1965 prices on June 6. Every hour throughout the day, all dining tables are invited to draw from the restaurant’s 60th Anniversary Bucket, where two lucky tables will receive a “Lucky Table Voucher” entitling them to pay original 1965 menu prices for their current meal. The hourly raffle is exclusive to tables actively dining at the time of each draw, with one draw allowed per table per hour.

With this playful nod to its beginnings, Bob’s Restaurant invites longtime patrons and new guests alike to take part in a celebration that honors six decades of good food and great memories.
