Mindanao stalwarts Special Assistant to the President Anton Lagdameo and Partido Federal ng Pilipinas President South Cotabato Gov. Reynaldo Tamayo Jr. on Tuesday met newly elected and reelected members to strengthen party unity and align support to President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s legislative agenda.

Twenty-two out of the 28 winning lawmakers attended the meeting in which Secretary General Isabela Gov. Rodito Albano and Executive Director Bulacan Rep. Florida “Rida” Robes were also present.
Tamayo stressed the importance of a united PFP bloc in Congress, noting that solidarity is key to pushing forward the administration’s priority measures.
Albano encouraged PFP lawmakers to strategically select committee assignments that align with their areas of expertise and experience.
This, he said, will allow them to contribute more effectively to the legislative process.
Robes commitment to supporting a smooth transition for the incoming members of the House of Representatives, assuring them of the party’s full guidance as they assume their legislative duties.
The event marked a renewed commitment among PFP members to act cohesively and responsibly in championing the policy thrusts of the Marcos administration in the 20th Congress.
