75 families lose homes in Bacoor fire

  • About 75 families were displaced after a fire tore through a residential area in Barangay Talaba 2, Bacoor City, on Tuesday morning.

The fire reached the second alarm at 8:06 a.m. and was extinguished at 8:41 a.m.

Alongside the Bureau of Fire Protection Bacoor (BFP Bacoor) and Bacoor Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, volunteer firefighters and the Barangay Fire Brigade also responded to the scene.

The local government unit said more or less 75 families lost their homes in the blaze.

Affected families are taking temporary shelter at Talaba Elementary School.

BFP Bacoor is still investigating the cause of the fire.
