Kapuso actress Julie Anne San Jose has stated that she is ready to settle down with actor Rayver Cruz, expressing her desire to prioritize her happiness.

"I'm ready to focus on other things, like pursuing my happiness. For the longest time, naka-focus ako sa career ko and studies. (I concentrated on my career and studies.) I want to make the most of it and enjoy life," said Julie Anne when asked about settling down during an event for Symply G at the BGC in Taguig City recently.

When asked again if Rayver is the one, Julie Anne replied, "For me, yes!"

Fans are eagerly awaiting Rayver's proposal to Julie Anne, who publicly confirmed their relationship in November 2022. However, Julie Anne believes that everything will happen in God's perfect timing.

"Hindi po ako makakasagot n'yan dahil hindi naman natin alam kung kailan pero eventually kapag dumating na yung time na ready na kami, in God's time, everything will fall into place. (I can't answer that because we don't know when, but eventually, when the time comes when we're ready, in God's time, everything will fall into place)," Julie Anne said when asked about her thoughts on the proposal.Julie Anne also shared her dream wedding.

"Ever since bata ako, gusto ko talaga ikasal sa simbahan kasi very traditional ang family ko so I also want to preserve that tradition. (Ever since I was a child, I wanted to get married in church because my family is very traditional, so I also want to preserve that tradition.)

"If ever may other decision pa on wedding, maybe out of the country pwede rin. Hindi ko pa masabi. Pero simbahan pa rin. Hindi pa sure ang lahat pero napapagplanuhan naman at sa tamang panahon. (If there's ever another decision on the wedding, maybe out of the country is also possible. I can't say yet. But it's still a church. Not everything is certain yet, but it can be planned and at the right time)," she said.

Julie Anne said she enjoys filming the thriller "Slay" with fellow actors Gabbi Garcia, Mikee Quintos, and Ysabel Ortega."

We had a good time filming the series with Gabbi, Mikee, and Ysabel. Sobrang galing nila. Magkakaibigan kami at sobrang mag-enjoy talaga kami. (They were so good. We were friends and we enjoyed it)," she said.

Julie Anne added: "Friends na talaga kami even before. Mas naging close kami dahil sa project na ito. Off-camera nagtatawagan kami at nagkukumustahan kami. Recently, we went out with the other members of the series. (We were friends even before. We became closer because of this project. Off-camera, we call one another and say hello.)"

"Individually close ako sa kanila. With Gabbi, siya ang madalas kong nakakausap ko when it comes to life. Si Mikee naging close koi because of our craft. Kapag nasa set kami grabe ang dedication niya even if she was doing thesis or school work. Full support naman kami sa kanya. Ysabel naman we've worked most of the time and we would go out kasama si Miguel (Tanfelix). Iba naman ang bonding ko sa bawa't isa. So naging close talaga ako sa kanila. (I'm individually close to them. With Gabbi, she's the one I often talk to when it comes to life. Mikee became close to me because of our craft. When we were on set, her dedication was so great, even if she was doing a thesis or schoolwork. We were fully supportive of her. With Ysabel, we worked most of the time, and we would go out with Miguel (Tanfelix). My bonding with each one is different. So I became close to them)," she revealed.

On what to expect in the upcoming episodes of "Slay," Julie Anne said: "I guess napanood na ng iba yung dapat panoorin sa 'Slay' sa Viu pero iba yung nasa GMA cut. I'm excited because it's a murder-mystery series that we've made."
