They turned over the contraband stored in sacks to authorities on Monday, June 2, upon arrival on land.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Regional Office 3 commended the fishermen for their decision to turn over the banned substance in 222 assorted vacuum-sealed transparent plastic packs weighing a kilo each.
Authorities are determining the origin of the item.
These will undergo forensic examination and confirmation at the PDEA-Central Luzon laboratory.
"The PDEA will continuously monitor all suspicious activities and remain steadfast in its commitment to eradicating drug smuggling in Central Luzon," the PDEA-Central Luzon said.
