BooRay! of the US-based KSN Gaming will donate school supplies to far-flung areas in Cebu province as part of its goal to help less-privileged children achieve their dreams.
“We intend to hold our community services in the entire Philippines but we will start in Cebu,” said Richard Castillo, one of the company’s executives.
Castillo said Booray will also donate medical supplies, wheelchairs, and other equipment to various hospitals.
The upcoming noble events came after Booray! officially named the Philippines as its Asian headquarters, marking a significant milestone in its international expansion.
This strategic move not only anchors the brand within one of Asia’s most dynamic gaming markets but also brings together some of the country’s most influential cultural and business icons.
At the heart of this expansion is to set up a newly formed partnership between BooRay! Creator Kahari S. Nash, renowned Filipino boxing promoter Rex “Wakee” Salud, and Castillo, an entrepreneur and entertainment executive.
The group represents a fusion of deep cultural insight, entrepreneurial leadership, and international gaming vision.
BooRay!’s decision to establish its regional headquarters in the Philippines reflects the country’s growing importance in the global gaming ecosystem and Asia being the world’s largest gaming market.
BooRay!’s brand ambassadors, partners, and board members include former NBA champions Mario Chalmers and Kendrick Perkins.
The next step for BooRay in the Philippines includes acquiring Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. licensing for brick-and-mortar, iGaming, and national lottery (scratch card) operations to anchor the brand in the country and grow its digital footprint throughout Asia and beyond.
To formalize these efforts, Nash will embark on a two-week visit to Cebu and Manila this month to conduct high-level meetings with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., Pagcor, and other regulatory officials.
“I’m excited about being a member of Team BooRay! and launching BooRay! here and throughout Asia,” said Salud, who made a name for himself by producing Filipino world boxing champions.
