Billy Crawford successfully stages his first solo concert in Paris: It's a dream come true
Filipino-American actor Billy Crawford achieved great success with his first solo concert at the Olympia in Paris, France, on May 29.
According to a report from One Filipino TV, Billy's concert drew a diverse audience, with attendees hailing from France, the Philippines, and various other nations.
The event was a vibrant celebration of music, uniting people from different cultures and backgrounds who gathered to enjoy an unforgettable night of entertainment. Fans cheered enthusiastically, creating an electric atmosphere that showcased the global appeal of Billy's talent.
"Congratulations, Billy Crawford. Sumakses ka sa first-ever solo concert in Paris. We are so proud of you," wrote One Filipino TV in the caption. "Maraming salamat sa lahat ng Pinoy, mga French at foreigners who came to show their love and support. Salamat. Thank you, Shukran, Gracias, Merci beaucoup tout le monde!"
In December 2024, the 43-year-old star announced on social media that he would be performing at the Olympia in Paris. His full announcement, written in French and translated into English:
"I am incredibly happy to announce that on May 29, 2025, I will perform for the very first time on the legendary stage of the Olympia in Paris. It's a dream come true, and I can't wait to share this moment with you.
"This date is even more special as it marks the anniversary of "Trackin'," a song that holds such a special place in my career and your hearts. Celebrating it with you, live, will be an incredible experience.
"Accompanied by my musicians and dancers, I'm preparing a show that will retrace my years of music, while adding a few surprises... and exceptional guests that I'm delighted to introduce to you that evening.
"I'm also very proud to revisit songs marked by life-changing experiences, like my collaboration with Michael Jackson, which has so profoundly influenced the artist I am today.
"So, whether you've been following me since the beginning or are just discovering my world, I can't wait to be with you at the Olympia. See you soon, Paris!" Billy wrote.
Moments before the show, Billy stated on Instagram that he was grateful for the support of his family."As the hours pass, my excitement builds. I'm grateful for this opportunity and thankful to my family, especially my wife, for their constant support.
"It's been 24 years since I've done this. We've put in the effort to create something special. To those joining tomorrow's event, I hope you enjoy yourselves and leave inspired. Bisous et à demain soir," Billy added.
Billy became famous in France when he released "Trackin," which became a massive hit in Europe in 2002. In November 2022, Billy won the French Dancing With the Stars. Billy is multilingual and speaks conversational French.
