Team Liquid PH dispatches Falcons to punch return ticket to MSC

The Cavalry went off to a blistering start to the series, taking the first two games before doing just enough to keep the Falcons at bay and clinch the last spot to the 2025 Mid-Season Cup in six games.
TLPH also earned another shot at Onic Philippines, this time for the title, after it suffered a 0-3 loss in their upper bracket finals duel.
Alston “Sanji” Pabico set the tone for Team Liquid in Games 1 and 2, setting up the team flights for his team with his Luo Yi pick in the series opener.
He finished with an impressive 9-2-15 line while Karl “Karltzy” Nepomuceno added a perfect 3-0-15 line on the Fredrinn in what was the dream start for Team Liquid after a dominant 24-10 Game 1 win.
Although Team Falcons put up a much better fight in the second game, it was Sanji who once again starred for Team Liquid, finishing with a 7-4-12 KDA on the Pharsa, highlight by a crucial solo pick off on Marco “Super Marco” Requitano that gave his team a chance for an uncontested Lord.
TLPH then took a commanding 2-0 lead after a close 26-20 contest in Game 2.
Refusing to go down without a fight though, Kyle “Kyletzy” Sayson took over in Game 3 and rallied his team to a 25-6 win. He finished with a 9-1-9 line on the Hayabusa pick while Super Marco bounced back with an 8-2-8 KDA on the Moskov.
The next two games then became a duel between the two team’s gold laners with regular season MVP Kiel “Oheb” Soriano refusing to be outdone with a 7-0-3 line in the 10-2 Game 4 win.
Super Marco, using the same hero, responded with an even better showing in Game 5 with 14-1-3 line to help Team Falcons not only pickup its second win in the series but also stave off elimination.
TLPH would not be denied, however, with Oheb securing a crucial triple kill in the final Lord dance to finally take the victory with a 13-8 Game 6 win.
