A 16-year-old boy was caught in possession of over P1 million worth of shabu and kush in a police buy-bust operation in Barangay Pinagbuhatan, Pasig City, early Friday morning, May 30.

The Eastern Police District (EPD) identified the suspect as "Ken," a resident of the same barangay and tagged as a newly identified high-value individual.
Police said Ken was arrested after a private informant reported his criminal activities to the police.
After validating the report through a surveillance, the police's drug enforcement unit conducted a buy-bust operation which led to Ken's arrest.
Recovered from him were 191.1 grams of shabu worth P1,302,880 and 15.8 grams of kush worth P23,700.
"Cases for Violation of Sec 5 (Selling of Dangerous Drugs) and Sec 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs) under Art II of RA 9165 otherwise known as the “Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002” will be filed against him before the Pasig City Prosecutor’s Office. The child in conflict with the law (CICL) is now under the custody of CSWD Pasig City while pertinent documents are being prepared for inquest proceedings," EPD director Brig. Gen. Aden Lagradante said.
