Man yields gun, explosive device in Parañaque

A 30-year-old man was arrested after authorities discovered firearms and an explosive device during the service of a search warrant in Barangay San Antonio, Parañaque City.

The Southern Police District (SPD) identified the suspect as “Noel.” 
He was apprehended by members of the Parañaque City Police - Special Weapons and Tactics (PCP-SWAT) team in Lower Barangay SAV I.
Police said the operation was carried out following a search warrant issued by Parañaque First Vice Executive Judge Mary Grace Javier.
Recovered from the suspect were a .38-caliber revolver loaded with live ammunition, a pen gun, and an explosive device.
The arrested suspect will face charges for illegal possession of firearms and explosives.
