Most Filipino voters believe that key national issues will improve following the May 2025 elections, based on the Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey conducted from May 2 to 6.

The survey, commissioned by Stratbase Group, shows strong public optimism in areas such as healthcare accessibility, food security, infrastructure development, climate resilience, national security, and inflation management.
Healthcare services topped the list, with 84 percent of respondents expecting improvements and only 2 percent anticipating worsening conditions, resulting in a net positive score of +82.
Food security and agricultural development followed closely, with 81 percent optimistic compared to 3 percent pessimistic (+79 net).
Development of infrastructure also received a positive outlook, with 80 percent hopeful for progress and 3 percent concerned about setbacks (+77 net).
Climate resilience and protection of natural resources had a net optimism score of +64, with 70 percent of respondents expecting improvements and 7 percent anticipating worsening conditions.
Meanwhile, national security in the West Philippine Sea garnered a net score of +60, as 67 percent believe the situation would improve compared to 8 percent who expect it to worsen.
Managing inflation recorded a net positive score of +55, with 62 percent of voters expecting better conditions and 8 percent anticipating worse.
The survey involved face-to-face interviews with 1,800 registered voters across Metro Manila, Balance Luzon, the Visayas, and Mindanao, with a national sampling error margin of ±2.31 percent.
