The Las Pinas City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) conducted a clean-up drive and flushing operation of busy public sidewalks.
Mayor April Aguilar said the team of CENRO conducted a clean-up drive and flushing operation in the Zapote junction area in Barangay Zapote, considered one of the busiest and high-traffic areas in the city.
She said the CENRO team, armed with cleaning equipment and water tankers, conducted coordinated sweeping, scrubbing, and flushing activities.
The mayor said the community clean-up drive is a citywide initiative that aims to promote environmental responsibility and strengthen public cooperation in maintaining clean, safe, and orderly communities.
The operation highlights the city’s proactive approach to urban hygiene and cleanliness, especially in high-traffic areas.
Aguilar said the CENRO’s efforts are a shared responsibility among residents, barangays, and local government offices.
With the collective action, Las Piñas continues to build a greener and safer environment for all residents as part of the clean and green campaign.
