2 repeat offenders nabbed for robbing, attacking Indian national in Malabon

Two men were arrested by the Malabon City Police after trying to rob and seriously hurt an Indian businessman inside his home in Barangay Tugatog, Malabon City.

The suspects, a 25-year-old male and a 32-year-old male, are both residents of Barangay Maysilo.
Based on the police report, the suspects entered the victim's home to rob him but were eventually discovered by the businessman, prompting them to attack him. He was later brought to Manila Central University Hospital in Caloocan City for medical treatment.
After the attack, the suspects left the victim's house empty handed and rode an e-trike going to Yanga Street in Barangay Maysilo where they were tracked and later arrested by the police.
Police recovered a motorcycle, two helmets, and two live ammo from the suspects.
Further investigation revealed that the two have been previously arrested for various crimes including robbery, physical injury, and illegal gambling.
"The arrested suspects will face charges for attempted robbery and frustrated homicide in relation to Republic Act 11235 under Section 9 or Motorcycle Crime Prevention Act," the police said.
