Rape suspect killed in clash with cops

AGLIPAY, Quirino – A man wanted for rape was killed in an encounter with police on Wednesday morning, May 28, in Barangay San Pugo, Nagtipunan, Quirino.
Police identified the suspect as Ben.
Ben was the sixth most wanted person in this province.
He was included in the e-warrant system and subject of four arrest warrants for rape.
The suspect fired at lawmen serving the warrants. Police returned fire and killed the suspect.
Recovered from the suspect were a .45 caliber pistol and a grenade.
Nobody was injured or killed among the police officers, said Police Col. Paul Gamido, provincial police director.
